Dave Arthur
Dave is Senior Lecturer in sport management at Southern Cross University. His current research interests include strategic sport marketing and corporate sponsorship. He has worked extensively with industry and has been involved in the management and promotion of many major events.


Alan Barnard
Alan is a marketing and communications consultant. He was heavily involved with the modernising of both the Labour Party in the nineties and then the Football Association. He lives in London and is a life-long Chelsea fan.

John Beech (Co-editor)
John is the Head of Leisure, Sport and Tourism Management at Coventry Business School. He teaches on both the MBA (Sport Management) and BA Sport Management degrees and has published widely on the use of internet marketing by soccer clubs. He is a committee member of SPRIG.

Karen Bill
Karen is Senior Lecturer at University College Worcester, where her main role is 'New Curriculum Development Co-ordinator'. She is currently completing the Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies (CPE) and has published in the Legal Executive Journal.

Terrence Wendell Brathwaite
Terry is Senior Lecturer in International Human Resource Management and Employment Law at Coventry Business School. A former Lecturer on Human Relations in Sport at the University of the West Indies, he has also served as Sports Marketing Manager for the Ontario Amateur Football Association in Canada. Terry is a member of various professional bodies including ILAM, CIM and IoD.

Terri Byers
Terri is Field Chair for Sport and Recreation at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College, where she is also Senior Lecturer in Sport and Leisure Management and Book Review Editor for European Sport Management Quarterly. Her research interests include control in voluntary sport organisations, strategic decision-making and small firms in the sport and leisure industry.

Simon Chadwick (Co-editor)
Simon lectures in Marketing at Leeds University Business School and is Programme Director for the MA in Advertising and Marketing. He has published work on sport marketing and strategic collaboration in sport, and has recently worked with the Premier League and the Institute of Football Management and Administration.

Dominic Elliott
Dominic is Professor of Business Continuity and Strategic Management at the University of Liverpool Management School, and is also Editor of Risk Management: An International Journal. His research interests include risk management in sport and the nature of regulatory behaviour in football.

Bill Gerrard
Bill is Professor of Sport Management and Finance, Leeds University Business School and the Editor of European Sport Management Quarterly. He is a specialist in the economics and finance of professional team sports and consultant to several football clubs.

Ian Henry
Ian is Professor of Leisure Policy and Management and Director of the Institute of Sport and Leisure Policy at Loughborough University. His research interests include comparative and transnational analysis of sports policy, and Olympic policy and politics.

Ping Chao Lee
Ping is a doctoral student in the Institute of Sport and Leisure Policy at Loughborough University. His principal research interest is in the field of the governance of professional sport in Taiwan.

David Morris
David is Dean of Coventry Business School. He lectures on sports betting on undergraduate and MBA programmes and has advised a number of organisations in the horseracing industry.

Cam O'Beirne
Cam is Lecturer in eBusiness at Edith Cowan University and a consultant in eCommerce and sport management, specialising in aquatics. He was the project manager for the world's first artificial surfing reef at Cables, in Western Australia.

John Old
John is Principal Lecturer at Coventry Business School, where he teaches economics and organisational management. His research and consultancy interests include sports organisations, organisational economics and the management of small businesses.

Chris Parker
Chris is Senior Lecturer in Sport and Leisure Management at Nottingham Trent University. He is an experienced management consultant, trainer and author and the co-author of 'Developing Management Skills for Leadership'.

Harry Arne Solberg
Harry is Associate Professor at Trondheim Business School, Sør-Trøndelag University College, where his teaching cover sports, micro and welfare economics. Harry's research interests include the economic impacts of various sport activities.

Susan Stoney
Susan works at Edith Cowan University where her role entails leading pedagogic developments in the Faculty of Business and Public Management. Her interests embrace eSport and online learning strategies.

Malcolm Sullivan
Malcolm is Principal Lecturer in Marketing and Director of MBA Programmes at Nottingham Trent University. His research interests lie predominantly in the field of Applied Consumer Psychology within the retail environment.

Alan Tapp
Alan is Senior Lecturer at Bristol Business School, where he specialises in direct and database marketing. He is a former international athlete who has numerous publications in sports marketing.

Des Thwaites
Des is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and a former Director of Studies in Management at Leeds University Business School. His sports research focuses on aspects of marketing, sponsorship and tourism.
