Model answers to all the exercises in the textbook are available for download to instructors who adopt the book as a key teaching text. To download the resources for this title, right click on the file names below and save them to your hard disk. If a zipped version of the files has been provided below, you will need an unzip utility such as WinZip (for Windows only) or Stuffit Expander (for both Windows and Macintosh) to extract the zip file. Free/demo versions of either of the above programs can be downloaded by clicking on the links shown above.

To extract files:

Using Winzip, save the zip file to your hard drive, right click on the file and choose extract to folder. The files will extract out to a folder with the same name as the zip file.

Using Stuffit Expander (Windows), save the zip file to your hard drive and then double click on the file name. This will automatically extract the files to the same location as your zip file.

Using Stuffit Expander (Macintosh), click on the zip file and it will automatically download and extract to your desktop.

If you do not already have a username and password to access the password protected resources below, please register for these by clicking on Request a password in the top toolbar. Please note that these files are not available to students.

Notes on the materials

Answers for each chapter are provided in both Delphi 1 and Delphi 4 versions of the code. In almost all cases one or both of these will work for Delphi 2 and Delphi 3. There is also a zip file containing all chapters for Delphi 1 and all chapters for Delphi 2 if you do not wish to download each chapter individually.

Occassional README.TXT files within the zip files are provided to explain points. Comments in the code also include important information.

Where code accesses other files it may be necessary to add path information, depending where you choose to store executables and the files to be accessed.

The programs are provided for instructional value. They have been tested with care but are not guaranteed for any particular purpose.
