When writing an on line course, there are
a large number of resources available to you to help you make the course
as lively and interactive as possible. Some of these resources come from
within Pearson, some from companies with whom we have established relationships.
It is important that you think carefully
about how you use these resources as you are writing the course. This
way, if video, photos, animation etc. are to be used they can be used
truly to enhance the student's learning experience.
Before you start writing, you should have
had a conversation with your web editor or acquisitions editor regarding
the extent to which you will use these resources and how they can be used
to maximum effect. Be clear also about how you are going to indicate what
you intend on your manuscript.
